Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at Sitting Pretty located in City of Cape Town. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, dealing with customers online and developing business strategies, and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments. The position also requires social media management.

Qualifications
The candidate will need to be passionate about the industry .
   • Proven experience in a managerial role
   • Excellent leadership and communication skills
   • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
   • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
   • Knowledge of the industry and market trends
   • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field or at least 3 years experience
   • Advanced organizational and analytical skills
   • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff
   • Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator
   • A working knowledge of Shopify, Quickbooks, Lightspeed, Asana and Later

Duties & Responsibilities will include:
· Manage stock to ensure accurate stock levels at all times, assist with stock takes
· Create content for website, social media (paid and unpaid), and any electronic communication as well as any marketing elements.
· Process images (clean)
· Create looks books and order forms
· Arrange and manage photoshoots
· Manage social media& send out mailers
· Assure customer satisfaction on all fronts, in store, website and via social media
· Manage our Shopify website, dispatch orders and create successful returns
· Manage, pack and quality check wholesale and create strong working relationships with wholesale customers
· Payroll, bank allocations and invoicing
· General office admin – Timesheets, shopping lists, staff leave, assist store manager, manage petty cash, day-to-day tasks
· Arrange, set up and manage studio sales
